Helped us get organized in our garage. Friendly, professional and obviously real experts—these guys know their stuff. We have just a basic family garage, but they have the ability to do really impressive bigger projects too. The owner himself came by during our slat wall installation, and he seems to have a great sense of doing the right thing for his customers. Highly recommended!

This Floor Turned Out Fantastic Jul 28, 2026

This is my second home they have done, and another excellent job. Last home the floor held up like new for the 7 years before we moved. This floor turned out fantastic, customer service is excellent. Eric even swung by proactively just to check on the floor after it was complete and found and repaired a small issue that I had caused by accidentally stepping on the floor when wet during our move. Great company to work with.

The Experience Was Great from Start to Finish Feb 20, 2026

I recently had my garage floor done by Garage Floor Experts of Kane County, and the experience was great from start to finish. The main reason I’m writing this is to give a shout-out to Eric. He was my point of contact and was awesome to work with. He’s super knowledgeable and actually took the time to explain how everything works, which made choosing the right finish a lot easier. He was always quick to get back to me and kept me in the loop the whole time. It's rare to find someone who actually cares that much about the details. The crew showed up on time, did a clean job, and didn't leave a mess behind. The floor looks incredible—it’s like a completely different space now. If you're looking to get your garage floor done, definitely call these guys and ask for Eric. You won't regret it.

Exceptional Garage Makeovers Nov 5, 2023

Garage Experts of Kane County, under the diligent guidance of owner Eric and the astute salesman Brian, have reinvented the concept of garage makeovers. My recent experience with their service was nothing short of exceptional. They have taken a space that was once merely functional and elevated it to a level of form and function that is genuinely astonishing. The journey began with Brian, whose salesmanship was informative without being pushy, helping us to make informed decisions about our space without ever feeling overwhelmed. His knowledge of the product line and keen eye for design were instrumental in planning a layout that maximized efficiency without sacrificing aesthetics. When it came to the installation, Eric’s team exhibited a level of professionalism and skill that is rare in the industry. The epoxy flooring they laid down is a marvel – its glossy finish not only brightens the space but is so robust I am confident it will look as good in ten years as it does today. Their attention to detail was meticulous, ensuring every inch of the space was utilized to its fullest potential. The cabinetry and storage solutions they provided were customized to fit our exact needs. These additions have transformed our garage into a multi-functional space, allowing us to store our belongings in a way that is organized and easily accessible, yet out of sight, maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Moreover, the entire project was completed at a very competitive price point, which made their outstanding service and the quality of the finished product even more impressive. The level of care and commitment displayed by Garage Experts of Kane County was truly commendable, and it’s evident that customer satisfaction is at the core of their business ethos. I can unreservedly recommend Eric, Brian, and the entire team at Garage Experts of Kane County. They are a company that not only delivers on their promises but exceeds them, providing a seamless experience from start to finish and a final product that is sure to enhance your home and lifestyle.

Transformed Our Garage Nov 5, 2023

I usually dread dealing with contractors. Usually communication is lacking, they don’t show up when they’re supposed to, they often cut corners, and then overcharge you. To find good service AND at a great price is rare nowadays… but I can’t tell you how glad I am I found these guys. First, the people. The owner really knows his stuff and has a great vision. He works with you and is not pushy. He and his sales team truly do make sure your needs are met and within budget. They don’t just come in and say you need A through Z, but really do take the time to configure the project to your needs. They present the options and explain everything in detail and they keep their word. The whole team is professional and friendly, making the whole experience fun and exciting. Second, the price. I got several other quotes, including one from a “friend” and their price beat all of them by a wide margin. It wasn’t because they cheaped out on materials or cut corners, because I saw what they used, and they used and quoted the same or better than the other quotes we received as far as materials. This is the type of company that values customer satisfaction and understands that having a good reputation and happy customers is what brings in business. They even went out of their way and did a couple of small extra things that weren’t quoted for no charge because Eric felt we would be happier with the result. Third, the quality of work, punctuality, and ease of working with them. They have quotes sent to you digitally with everything broken down, calendar appointments for installations shared with you for convenience, and you’re kept informed throughout the whole process. Nothing frustrates me more than when you take a day off from work to be home for a job being done at your house only to find out “something came up” so it has to be rescheduled over and over. These guys keep their word and overdeliver on their promises. Last but not least, I can’t even explain how much I love the way everything has turned out. They truly transformed our garage from a dirty, cluttered, and ugly space to a place I love spending days on end in. Don’t hesitate, call them, set up your appointment. You won’t be disappointed.

Overall Nice Job Nov 4, 2023

Overall nice job. But I felt that they rushed through the floor coating because you can still see the cracks they filled in, and one spot is bubbled up, but my floor was very bad to begin with. They said 3 days to do it but only had about 1 1/2. So was I billed for 3? Cabinets very nice but one door does not line up very well, but I'm ok with it I guess. Overall I totally love my garage so it's an 8 out of 10.

End project looks amazing Oct 15, 2023

Excellent - from the initial consultation through the entire coating process. Jeff was my initial sales contact and was professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Multiple quotes were obtained from other garage floor coating companies, and Garage Experts was my choice for numerous reasons (price, professionalism, time spent, politeness, follow-up, personal touch, etc.). The installation date was scheduled; Vince and Zach showed up on time, and we confirmed what was needed. They began the surface preparation, which is the foundation for a great application. Vince operated the large walk-behind diamond grinder while Zach ground the edges and the vertical surfaces with the hand-operated diamond grinder. They looked carefully at all surfaces to be coated to ensure that the proper preparation was made. Then the entire area was carefully vacuumed. The epoxy base coat was applied, and many boxes of the chips were applied to the wet coating. I was amazed at how much was applied. I had looked at possibly doing this work myself, and the chips in the homeowner kits were a fraction of what was applied by GarageExperts. The surface was allowed to dry, and then they scraped the surfaces in 3 directions (north/south, east/west, and then diagonally). It should actually say 6 directions since they scrape both ways of each direction. This breaks off any chips that are sticking up. They collect all that was scraped off, vacuumed, and then used a blower to ensure that all the loose materials were removed. The polyaspartic coating was mixed and applied. This has a 45-minute pot life and they don't want cold joints, so they had 5 to 6 guys rapidly applying the coating. Most of the guys were applying to the vertical surfaces while one guy was spreading out using an 18" roller. They worked quickly and efficiently, ensuring that all surfaces were covered. Then they back-rolled the entire area to ensure it was spread well and evenly coated. The steps were also coated, which along with all of the vertical surfaces, really set the whole project off. There were a few trim pieces that were taken to their shop and then returned in a couple of days to apply the finishing touches. The heavy chip application results in a textured surface that reduces the slipperiness of the surface. The end project looks amazing, is easy to clean, and everyone that sees it compliments the appearance. Kudos to all of the Garage Experts staff; Jeff, Vince, Zach, Christian, Oscar, Gabe, and Eric. There was one more guy, but I don't remember his name. All of the workers were professional, polite, hard-working, and knowledgeable, which resulted in an incredible finished product. I highly recommend Garage Experts for your concrete coating project. This is for the business GarageExperts.

Once people saw my garage floor, they immediately contacted Brian to have their floor done.

Eric and Brian were very responsive and great to work with. They let me take my time in regards to picking out a color. Furthermore, they were great in explaining the whole process and making sure that everything was up to standard.

Eric and his crew are top tier professionals. Aug 2, 2023

Eric and his crew are top tier professionals. The quality of their work and attention to detail are better than could be expected. They coated our pool patio and it’s such an improvement. They fixed all of the cracks and pitting and made it completely seamless. Now I actually feel like I have an outdoor living space worth sharing with family and friends. I was constantly embarrassed of the look before they fixed it, now I’m proud to show off the water park quality look. They have so many color options to choose from and even different sizes of flake for your preferences. It’s not like the simple low quality epoxy flake you buy at the home improvement store. It looks like coated granite but is super comfortable to walk on and slip resistant. The polyaspartic they use is tough and UV stable and chemical resistant. They also have an amazing warranty. Please consider them for your next flooring project. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. I plan to edit for pictures added at a later date. Please see photos.

Classy Outfit Apr 26, 2023

I used Eric and his crew from Garage Experts of Kane County after seeing several neighbors and friends who had theirs done. Classy outfit. We found a minor flaw on our wood stairs, which hurt if you stepped on it in bare feet. They came out and redid the whole stairs, rather than just cutting out and touching up the spot. That could have, and would have, been the cheaper and faster way to go. But nope, they did it the correct way. I highly recommend them for your garage. I love what it did for our garage, which was old and pitting at the time from our harsh salt winters. It comes with a lifetime warranty, and with Illinois winters, you can't go wrong with that.

I couldn’t be more impressed. Apr 26, 2023

Worked with Eric and his team to put my epoxy floor down, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. Looks great and adds a lot of opportunities for using my garage space. I was so impressed with the quality of work and professionalism that I would want to work for a team like this.

Garage Experts of Kane County is the ONLY way to go! Apr 21, 2023

We shopped around for comparison of price, warranty, and quality of product used in floor covering. This is the winner of all 3 - lifetime warranty, best price (compared to 6 others) and absolutely the best products to use for flooring. Top that off with a wonderful team of professionals who take pride in their work and Garage Experts of Kane County is the ONLY way to go!

The floor still looks great Mar 31, 2023

Had my beat-up concrete garage floor epoxied in May 2022. Also had cabinets installed at that time. Nothing but good things to say. Working with the team at GE was easy, scheduling was easy, they explained what to expect, when to expect it, and we got everything we signed up for, as explained. Just got through the first winter and the floor still looks great.

Eric and team have been great to work with on remodeling our garage. All aspects from concept, design, and installation of the ceiling to floor slat walls and cabinets were outstanding. What impressed me was their attention to details and ensuring everything was done correctly. I couldn’t be more pleased with the installation and quality of outcome. Highly recommend.

Did an Awesome Job Mar 9, 2023

Garage Experts of Kane County installed the flooring for our new commercial catering kitchen and did an awesome job. Chris helped oversee every step of the project, and we couldn't be happier with it. We needed a floor that looked great and would create a safe flooring option for our staff both in the kitchen as well as in our walk-in cooler and freezer. Thanks for a job well done. We will be using them in the future and so should you. You won't be disappointed.

It was such a pleasure working with Eric and his professional staff. They are very knowledgeable at this craft and were available to answer all the questions I had. Very professional process Apr 9, 2022

If you are looking for a great guy to do your concrete floor, give Eric a call. He was very professional with the whole process and went above to make sure I would be happy with the color and final product. Also, he was very neat and clean at the end after sanding all the floors down. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to get your floor done.

Highly recommend Eric and his team Mar 20, 2022

Eric is professional, down to earth, and very good at what he does. Had an epoxy floor "completed" by another local business about 18 months ago. In that time, it started flaking in three different spots. Subsequent repairs were equally bad. Eric and his crew came in, removed my old floor, and applied a new floor. No comparison in the attention to detail, quality of work, and finished product. I highly recommend Eric and Garage Experts of Kane County.

I highly recommend Eric and Garage Experts for your next storage, garage, flooring project.
