Absolutely Exceeded My Expectations Aug 25, 2026

Finally getting around to having the garage floor redone, I decided to give epoxy floor coating a try. I went by the reviews and chose GarageExperts, and they definitely did not disappoint! From the very first phone call, everyone was friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. They were also incredibly accommodating despite my crazy work schedule. We even lucked out with no rain during the process—whew! 😅 The entire job was a two-day process and absolutely exceeded my expectations. A huge thank you to Mar and Rod, the epoxy crew who handled day one. The picture was taken that evening with the garage light on, and I was already amazed by how good it looked! Also, a big thank you to Dillon and Tony, who came out for the clear coat. Awesome job! 🤩 Now I can’t wait to get everything put back together after giving the walls a fresh coat of paint. Hopefully, I’ll actually remember to post the finished garage once it’s all said and done! I highly recommend GarageExperts—affordable, professional, friendly, and an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Thank you again!

They Did a Beautiful Job Apr 1, 2026

I was very impressed with Garage Experts from my first encounter with them at the home show in Virginia Beach. My pool deck needed significant repair and resurfacing and they did a beautiful job. They were very detail oriented, particularly in regard to preparation and product application. Communication was professional and friendly. The owner, John, was on the job every day and saw that things were done up to his high standards. I felt the pricing was very fair given the quality of the work and materials, the attention to detail, and the fact that this is a very labor-intensive process when done properly. Garage Experts has a proprietary system with a good history of results and a good warranty. Recommend highly for your garage or pool deck! Thanks to John and the crew for a great job!

Haile Dubois

I will always recommend this company Mar 31, 2026

I recently had my garage done by Garage Experts of Virginia Beach, and the whole process was amazing. They came out quickly to provide a quote and did a great job explaining everything. The installation was just as good. The first crew, Rod and Dillon, were friendly and educational. The second crew, Mar and Cayden, finished the project the next day while I was at work. They called before arriving, and once the job was finished, they sent photos, called to let me know they had closed and locked the garage door, and educated me on when I would be able to walk on the floors. I will always recommend this company—great service, friendly team, and very informative.

The Result Is Incredible Mar 14, 2026

I was planning this for two years, and when GarageExperts came the first day, I was blown away. My garage looked so amazing. The second day was the top coats, and the result is incredible. Dillion and Rod were professional, on time, and completed the install in no time at all. I highly recommend GarageExperts for any sized flooring project.

Aries Lynch

I would definitely use this company again Mar 11, 2026

The technician arrived on time. He was great at explaining what he was going to do and how long he expected it to take. He performed his task in the amount of time he predicted and cleaned up the work area nicely. Again on the second day he arrived on time and was finished on time. He went over directions as to when I could begin using the steps again. He was very friendly and polite. I would definitely use this company again and will tell my friends.

Angela Gallihugh

They were really easy to work with. The crew showed up on time and was very friendly and professional. Carrie got me scheduled to complete the job within two weeks, and the outcome was amazing. Entire Experience Exceeded Expectations Jan 30, 2026

We recently had our garage floor completed by Garage Experts, and the entire experience exceeded expectations. From start to finish, their team was professional, punctual, and extremely respectful of our home. They arrived exactly when they said they would and kept us informed throughout the process. What stood out most was their work ethic — they stayed late to ensure the job was completed properly rather than rushing through any part of it. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident in the finished product. The floor looks outstanding, and the quality of the installation gives us confidence it will hold up beautifully over time. It’s refreshing to work with a company that values timeliness, courtesy, and delivering on its promises. I would highly recommend Garage Experts to anyone considering upgrading their garage space. And Carrie was fantastic to work with during the sales and coordination of the install. Thank you!

I am very happy with the end result Jan 28, 2026

I contracted with Garage Experts of VA Beach to epoxy my sunroom floor. Initially, a glossy finish was applied. I asked if a matte finish would be possible instead. To my delight, Garage Experts said “yes” and did it. I want to extend appreciation to Frank, who came out to inspect the floor with a glossy finish and was a great advocate; I want to thank Cayden for removing unsightly mortar from my brick step and Dillon for meticulously removing the glossy finish from the floor before the three of them reapplied a matte finish. I am very happy with the end result.

Sandra Hill

Surfaces Look Amazing! Apr 2, 2025

The Garage Experts did an outstanding job on both our garage floor and back patio, we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The 4 employees we dealt with personally were professional and kind, we had no issues with them whatsoever. A trailer was promptly delivered to store our garage contents (including a large motorcycle), and they started the garage the next day. It was complete within 2 days (though there are a day or two you have to wait to walk on it, then place lightweight items, and finally heavy items like a car), and our patio was done in about 3 days (due to longer drying time under our pergola). We are just in awe of how amazing those surfaces look now, and we will definitely refer anyone we know looking at having this done to the Garage Experts!!

Kimberly S.C

Outstanding! Apr 1, 2025

Would definitely recommend this company along with Dillon and Cayden as the technicians for your project.

So pleased with the finished results! Mar 6, 2025

Garage Experts applied epoxy to the garage floor, put up shelving and wall slats. I am so pleased with the finished results! It took some time but is so worth the wait as I begin to enjoy it! Dillon, Cayden, and John were so kind and respectful… true delights to work with!

The Floor Is Now Beautiful Feb 24, 2025

Carie had to do some finagling in order to arrange a storage trailer to arrive allowing me time to empty the garage prior to start. Then the weather caused the floor cure time to extend and trailer pickup had to be rescheduled resulting in no issues to me. The installers Cayden and John were sent to do the work on my garage floor. A date and planned start time were set. They always provided a heads-up call prior to heading my way. I am very pleased with how knowledgeable, professional, and with an eye toward quality assurance. They took the time to discuss/resolve questions or issues along the way. The floor is now beautiful, clean, and durable. The system used is designed to last and engineered with the materials and processes to support that longevity. I highly recommend this Garage Experts Team for anyone looking to improve their garage flooring. Thank you. William Smith

Outstanding Work! Feb 22, 2025

I recently hired GarageExperts to work on my garage floor, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and detail-oriented. They took the time to properly prep the surface and ensure everything was done with precision. The finish looks flawless, and the floor now has a clean, durable, and sleek appearance that completely transformed the space. I can tell they used high-quality materials, and the attention to detail really shows. I highly recommend GarageExperts for anyone looking to improve their garage flooring. Outstanding work! I want to recognize the team that worked on my garage. John Dillon Cayden Carry - She coordinated having to juggle a team to be able to work on the day of the agreed start date due to unforeseen events. Also, she was able to extend the storage trailer for a few extra days due to inclement weather. Thank you all! This is for the business GarageExperts.

Don't hesitate, a great pick! Feb 21, 2025

Kayden, John, and Dylan did a phenomenal job with my garage floor, after being super flexible with a big storm and their outstanding attention to detail and extending the install date to ensure that it was completed properly. They left my garage very clean with no mess. They were always extremely friendly and helpful with any and all questions I had. They were all very knowledgeable of the process and never left me unsure on whether I went with the right company! If you are unsure on whether to go with Garage Experts of Virginia Beach, don’t hesitate, they were a great pick!

Tom Reeves

Phenomenal from the beginning Feb 14, 2025

The company was phenomenal from the beginning. Jim the salesman came to my home and sold me on their process. This is my second time using Garage Experts. I used them two years ago and in Jan 2025! It was scheduled pretty quickly around my schedule. The two young men that completed the floor work were very professional and fast. Dillon and Cayden arrived on time and in two days (half day on the 1st and less than a 1/2 day the next) completely transitioned my garage into a man’s dream work space. I highly recommend paying a little bit more for Garage Experts to get the quality and guarantee they provide for your garage or space. I am recommending them to everyone and endorsing their professionalism.

David Gray

They do not disappoint Jan 1, 2025

We used Garage Experts a few years ago at our previous home, and when we moved, we knew we had to get them out here to work their magic on this garage floor. We purchased an older home and needed their help! They do not disappoint and know exactly what is needed to make your garage floor look new again! I've seen the process and seen DIYers do it, and I would never want to try it. We are very pleased with their work, with the outcome, and with their price. We hope to stay here a while, but if we do have to move, we would definitely use them again!

Garage Experts met our expectations 100% Nov 15, 2024

Garage Experts was recommended to us by a friend. We went to the friend's home and viewed their refinished garage floor. The job looked magnificent. So, we met the company representative, got an estimate, and then signed up Garage Experts to refinish the garage floor at our home. The striping and finishing work took two days. Curing took one more day. We let the floor set untouched a fourth day to ensure an optimal epoxy and clearcoat finishes. We are very pleased with the final results. Note that the floor finish goes up the side block wall about 20". We asked for that extra area to be refinished to make the garage look great. Garage Experts met our expectations 100%. Recommended!

Rick Saunders

Great job installing my hanging shelf Nov 15, 2024

GarageExperts did a great job installing my hanging shelf, and they did it for less than other quotes I got.

Joe Pinon

Garage looks really good Aug 20, 2024

They did a great job. Floor looks great. I brought cabinets as well. Great customer service. I would have given a higher rating, but they didn't clean up the loose flakes around the garage, and it rained, so by the time I got home, I had blue, black, and white flakes everywhere: in the grass, flower beds, and driveway. And there was a 4-day delay for the cabinet install on top of the 3-day wait required for the floors to cure. Seems so long when you are super excited. But the garage looks really good.

Product is superior to others. Jun 21, 2024

This past time was our 3rd time being a customer of Garage Experts of Virginia Beach. That should say it all. The product is superior to others. This is not a DIY project in my opinion, because you won't get the same prep/coat/warranty when you do it yourself. Carrie, you're the best. Michael, the owner, is top notch as well. Thank you to all!

The results speak for themselves Jun 15, 2024

Wonderful experience with their whole team. I recently purchased a new home and wanted to get the garage floors done before I moved in. Since I was relocating from a different area, I was not available for a traditional quote and service. The Garage Experts team did great accommodating my situation and we worked a solution that was perfect. The team at Garage Experts came recommended from a friend and their recommendation was spot on. The results speak for themselves and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Carrie in the front office was great to communicate with and she followed up to ensure everything was to my satisfaction.

Wonderful Job on Our Garage Floors Oct 27, 2023

Garage Experts did such a wonderful job—I don't even want to walk on the floors lol lol !!!! Can't say enough about the professionalism from initial consultation with Jim to scheduling with Carrie and the two installers Cheryl and Tommy!! And even though I have never met the owner, Micheal Johnson, he should be very proud of the work ethics of his employees because it's a big reflection of his overall character and business ethics. Kudos to all! Just look at the detail and how eye-popping our garage looks! And still in the first 24-hour drying stage. Thank you so much, Garage Experts. V/R, Glecy and Paul.

From consulting and design to installation and follow-up, they were extremely professional and the work was top quality. They truly value the idea of having a clean, well-organized garage. Don’t hesitate to use them for your next garage project!
