Basement Epoxy Flooring on Long Island
Over 80 Million Square Feet Coated. Built for Long Island Basements.
Most basement floors sit unfinished for years: bare concrete that shows every crack, stain, and damp spot. The Garage FX® epoxy and polyaspartic floor coating system changes that. Applied directly to your existing slab, it transforms a raw below-grade floor into a bright, durable, finished surface ready for whatever you want the space to become. We’ve applied over 80 million square feet of Garage FX® coatings across homes and businesses nationwide, and we bring that same system to Nassau and Suffolk County homeowners looking to get more from their basements.
Our locally owned and operated team serves communities throughout Long Island, including Massapequa, Wantagh, Huntington Station, Levittown, Plainview, and Hicksville. With over 140 colors and finishes to choose from, we can match the floor to how you plan to use the space.

DIY epoxy kits skip the two things that determine whether a coating performs over time: industrial-grade surface preparation and a moisture-resistant primer. Without them, coatings can lift from the slab within a year or two. The Garage FX® system is built differently.
At the foundation is an epoxy fusing primer engineered to withstand significant moisture vapor emission from the concrete slab. Moisture vapor pressure is the primary cause of coating failure in lesser systems. By addressing it at the bond layer, the Garage FX® primer creates lasting adhesion that standard products can’t match. The coating itself is stronger than the concrete it’s applied to.
What homeowners get with Garage FX®:
- Lifetime warranty covering both products and workmanship
- Resistance to peeling, chipping, abrasions, and chemicals for a surface that holds up in real use
- UV resistance so the floor won’t yellow or fade over time
- American-made products designed and manufactured to our standards
- One-day installation on most residential projects, with minimal disruption to your home
How the Garage FX® System Works on a Basement Slab
The Garage FX® system is a two-part coating process applied directly to concrete. No subfloor is required. Before any coating goes down, we evaluate the slab for cracks, surface imperfections, and moisture conditions. Where cracks or joints exist, we treat them with our Garage FX® epoxy repair product so the surface is sound before the system begins.
The epoxy fusing primer base coat goes on first, bonding to the concrete and creating the adhesive foundation for the entire system. Once the base has set, the polyaspartic topcoat follows, curing quickly to a high-gloss, crystal-clear finish that resists impacts, abrasion, and chemical staining. Because polyaspartic topcoats cure faster than traditional epoxy-only systems, you’re back to using the space sooner. Ongoing maintenance is simple: the sealed, seamless surface needs nothing more than a mop or wipe.
Why Long Island Basement Floors Need a Purpose-Built Coating
Below-grade concrete on Long Island faces more than ordinary wear. The coastal climate brings salt air, seasonal humidity swings, and temperature variation that accelerate degradation in unprotected slabs. Moisture vapor pressure from the surrounding soil works constantly against any coating system that wasn’t formulated to resist it. Tile and vinyl plank floors can fail at their seams and joints under these conditions.
The Garage FX® seamless, non-porous surface helps reduce those failure points. There are no seams for moisture to infiltrate. The polyaspartic topcoat is UV-resistant, so even basement spaces with window wells or egress doors that admit natural light won’t see the floor yellow or dull over time. For Nassau and Suffolk County homeowners, a coating system built around moisture vapor resistance isn’t a premium upgrade. It’s the right baseline.
